The Power of Your Subconscious Mind
I recently finished reading this book. It’s awesome and path breaking if you haven’t read “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne. If you have, it’s still an awesome reminder of the good stuff in life. The writer, Joseph Murphy, guides the reader very patiently through various aspects of life and how we can, and should apply, the power of the subconscious to each one. You may call it God, the Universe or the Subconscious, the force is the same and the same principles apply.
What really stood out in the book was that the writer explains that a negative thought cannot harm you unless you dwell on it for too long or start believing in it. I infer that this way, passing negative thoughts cannot harm us that much, unless we start believing in them. I personally used to be afraid of letting even a single negative thought come in! More paranoia than caution. Lol.
I learnt that one needs to be patient and gentle while dealing with the powers of the subconscious. The gentler (yet firm) you are, the easier it is for the thought to sink in.
A good read, I recommend it. Things the author says might seem repetitive at the outset but are essential for things to be driven home. My rating: 9 on 10.
